The International Journals of Psychopathology and Behavioral Health is a division of Mental Health Initiative International, USA, and organization dedicated to teaching, conducting, and disseminating scientific research and investigations on mental and behavioural health. Although registered in and administered from the United States, the prime objective of organization is to aid Individuals, Institutes, and Government establishments in educations, research, clinical training and mental health services to enhance the teaching and application of the science of psychiatry, clinical psychology and psychiatric nursing.


The operational model of the organization covers academic research and publication of research papers from scientists, lecturers, clinical practitioners, students of behavioural health sciences. We also assist Universities to establish schools or departments of Clinical health psychiatry and psychology, especially to developing nations where mental health professionals are insignificant, while the need is in a higher proportion.


Our division of Journal publication is one of the highly read scientific and academic research works, and its editorial board is selected from the best and most experience clinicians, academia, and scientists around the world. There are four different journals, mostly internet-based series and comprising variety resources, operated and managed by different editorial administrative boards. The journals are:



Journal of brain-behaviour and Health

This research journal aims to understand the interplay of neurobiological mechanisms, behaviour and health outcomes. Its research perimeters cover works in industrial, hospital, organizational, national and international bodies. The research is tailored to neurosciences: neurology, neuropsychiatry, and neuropsychology, which address the following research areas:


  • Neuropsychology and Neuroimaging
  • Feeding, Nutrition and brain-Behaviour responses
  • Substance Abuse and the brain.

Research emphasis consists of multidisciplinary and integrated knowledge gained from all types of scientific enquiry in clinical mental health and abnormal behaviour, covering from basic to applied, qualitative and quantitative research. It is structured to better underscore the complex interplay between basic structures of the brain, cognitive processes, emotional functioning and behaviour. The papers published by this journal are of high qualities research outcomes that show relevance to advancing theory and interventions for a number of conditions affecting cognition as well as those affecting mental health across the developmental spectrum (children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics). Research papers accepted, edited and published by this journal address issues:

Journal of Forensics and Behavioural Sciences

This journal covers areas in involving the contributions of behavioural sciences in law, justice and law enforcement. Papers published on this platform focus on contribution made by forensic psychologists in areas related to:


  • Criminal profiling services.
  • Child custody evaluations.
  • Investigate reports of child abuse
  • Expert witness / courtroom testimony regarding psychological questions before the court.
  • Evaluating suspected criminals for mental competency and their ability to stand trial.
  • Evaluating convicted criminals to aid in creating plans for rehabilitation.

Journal of Clinical Psychology Behavioural Health

Journal of Clinical Psychology Behavioural Health covers all areas of clinical approach to psychology and behavioral health, serving researchers, professionals, lecturers and students alike. We publish papers and experiments of high repute in clinical psychology and behavioral health, including a number of fully open access journal articles.

Journal of Family Behavioural Health

The study of and research in family dynamics have opened a huge avenue in underscoring roles mental health plays in Families, Systems, & development of individuals child, as well as sustainability of a healthy marital relationships between couples. The research in this area goes beyond mental, emotional and behavioural health, but includes the concomitant health-related issues. Health seeks to develop the knowledge base of a systemic approach to healthcare that integrates mind and body; individual and family; and communities, clinicians, and health systems while considering cost-effectiveness and distributive justice.


The journal provides a forum to examine clinical and program innovation, health policy, research, and evaluation of training that related to Families, Systems, & Health. Its editorial processes are based on a peer-reviewed assessment of the collaborative family mental healthcare systems in Marriage and Family behavioural health, sexology and birth control, clinical gynecology and family mental and emotional health, divorce and family dyfunctionality.


Therefore, the journal's scope includes the following three domains:

  • Family overall Functioning: emphasizes understanding health, illness, and treatment from birth to death within the family context rather than focusing on individuals in isolation. The term "family" is used broadly to include, but not be limited to the legal, biological, or psychological family, household members unrelated by blood or marriage, and intimates who have a relationship over time, but extend to interpersonal relationships that may connect schools, business outlets, universities etc.
  • Systems Thinking: Papers that stress an overarching concept that recognizes the interrelatedness of all human systems (e.g., biological, psychological, interpersonal, familial, societal, political, economic, cultural, spiritual). This perspective is useful in examining dynamics within a profession or among clinical staff, relationships among patients, families, communities, and clinical staff, and the coordination of care across levels of the health system.
  • Health: refers to the optimal state of the body, mind, and spirit of individuals, families, or communities. Healthcare includes the practice of all health professionals, including physicians, mental health professionals, nurses, pharmacists, and many other disciplines.
